TEAM LEVELS
DYNAMITE VOLLEYBALL OFFERS THREE LEVELS OF TEAMS
All Premier & National Teams are Full Season (Dec/Jan - June)
Teams are created based on players selected at tryouts.
10-12u Combined Local Team
This team is perfect for new volleyball players who are interested in learning the game, improving basic volleyball skills, and competing in local volleyball tournaments. The local team season runs from January - mid-March. The main goal of our local teams is player development. This level will give players a taste of club volleyball without the commitment of a full five month AAU season.
Premier Teams
Premier Teams are very competitive teams which are excellent for players looking to improve their skills and compete at a high level. Premier teams run the entire AAU season (December-June), and compete in power league, and competitive National level two day tournaments based in Michigan, including the AAU Grand Prix in Grand Rapids at the end of the season.
National / Adidas Teams
National Teams compete at the national level. These teams are our most competitive teams and are designed for serious volleyball players who do not participate in other sports during the volleyball season. National team players must be 100% committed to volleyball. Many of these players plan on playing in college. These teams will compete in six national tournaments where college coaches and recruiters are present, including the AAU Nationals in Orlando FL to end the season. National teams will require several over night stays.
TEAM SELECTION
National or Premier? If you're not sure which level to choose, don't worry about it. Simply make your best guess. The important part is registering, showing up, and working hard at tryouts. All players will be put through competitive drills designed to measure their individual skills, while coaches carefully evaluate them to determine what team a player is best suited for. Once evaluations are complete, we will offer a player the team level we feel is best for them.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PLAY UP
As a general rule, WE DO NOT ALLOW PLAYERS TO PLAY UP. Our goal is to create the strongest teams at ALL age levels, helping teams get stronger each season. We have found that allowing players to play up above their age/grade level weakens all teams and ultimately is not in the best interests of the players, the team, or the club.
TEAM DEPOSIT
Deposit is due within 24 hours of acceptance. Other season payments will be automatically billed to the credit card/bank account used during registration. If you get a new card during this time period, please update that information in your account.
