Lisa is a teacher and coach with over 20 years of experience in working with student-athletes from ages 7-18.
Lisa played volleyball at Albion College and graduated with a double major in Visual Arts and Physical Education/Health. In addition to playing college volleyball, she also lettered in 3 other collegiate sports including basketball, soccer and track/field.
Lisa’s varsity coaching career involves starting both volleyball programs at Rochester Stoney Creek HS (2002) and South Lyon East HS (2007) along with coaching at Andover and Lahser High Schools before they merged and became Bloomfield Hills High School (2013).
During her time at Stoney Creek, she started and owned the Rochester Boom VBC for two years before the HS seasons changed from winter to fall.
She is passionate about the fundamentals and the importance of an explanation for “the why” that athletes desire to know.
Lisa resides in Brighton with her 2 daughters (7/9) where she teaches elementary art and coaches volleyball at Scranton Middle School.
