Emily Kalinowski

Emily graduated from South Lyon High School where she was a Setter. During that time, the SLHS Volleyball team was District Champions three out of four years. Emily was named All Conference in 2017 and 2018, All Region in 2018, and was Team Captain in both 2017 and 2018. Emily holds the school record for single season assists with 1,163. She also holds the school record in career assists with 2,225. Emily was recruited by Lake Superior State University where she played for five years. In her first season, Emily was second on the team with 100 assists. In her senior year, Emily competed in all 30 matches for the Lakers recording 993 assists. During that time she was named to the All-GLIAC Second Team, the first Laker to receive all-conference honors since 2011, named GLIAC Setter of the Week, and named to the NMU Open All-Tournament Team. In addition to being an accomplished player, Emily is a great teacher and is passionate about helping our players grow and develop.
